Handling of personal data

The pages of Administrator Technology GmbH (see Terms of Use) can be accessed anonymously. If personal data (name, address, etc.) is required, you will be advised in advance. If you decide to share your personal information with us or our partners (e.g. to start correspondence, or execute orders), we will treat your information strictly in accordance to the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO). If you ask us to remove your personal data or if you wish not to be contacted anymore, we will act accordingly.

By accessing our websites, Administrator Technology GmbH generates usage data. Administrator Technology GmbH does collect non-personally identifiable information from users and visitors on the website, including IP addresses, profile information, cumulative user data, and browser type. For this we use the software Matomo (see Matomo section below). We evaluate the data to identify trends and to compile statistics, but adhere strictly to the high security standards of the German Teleservices Data Protection Act {aka. Teledienstedatenschutzgesetzes(TDDSG)} and the Data Protection Ordinance for Telecommunications Companies (TDSV). Under no circumstances personal data is merged with usage profiles or statistics to do a personal screening. This data is only deemed to manage the website, track usage, and improve the website services in general.

If you do not want your website activities to be available to us, you can switch off our Matomo web analytics here..

User profile information, including photos and nicknames from members, is provided to simplify the interaction with users in the community. In order to facilitate the search for members, we allow users to search for members by criteria like their nicknames or the IT focus, which is specified in the personal profile.

If activated in the users profile, we can use the members email addresses to send notifications of posts, updates, interesting products, recommendations, newsletters or up-to-date information about the service. If users do not want to receive such e-mails, they can switch off these functions in the user profile setting themselves(depending on the type of notification).

From time to time, an Administrator Technology GmbH or a partner sponsored advertising campaign, a raffle or a contest on our website is released. To participate, users may be asked to provide personal information (e.g. name, e-mail address or postal address), or answer questions. If users have explicitly asked for information from a specific advertising partner, we forward their personal data to them. In the case of this data collection the query clearly states who collects the personal data and whose data protection statement is valid.

Administrator Technology GmbH does not disclose any e-mail addresses to third parties.

Which data we collect and process

We collect, process and store the data you provide when you register with us. Which personal data is transmitted to us is determined by the respective input mask used for registration.

For legal reasons, the registered person will for the first time receive a confirmation e-mail in the double opt-in procedure to the registered e-mail address. This confirmation e-mail is used to check whether the owner of the e-mail address as user has requested and authorized the registration.

In addition, members have the possibility to add optional data to their profile after registration. Which personal data is transmitted to us depends on the respective input mask, which you will find under the personal settings. This data is displayed or hidden, depending on the setting. None of this data will be passed on to third parties.

During registration, in addition to personal data, we store the computer system used by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) at the time of registration as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary in order to trace the (possible) misuse of a data subject's e-mail address at a later point in time and therefore serves the legal protection of the data controller.

Registration and contact forms

Due to legal regulations, the pages of Administrator Technology GmbH contain information that enables quick electronic contact with our company and direct communication with us, which also includes a general address of the so-called electronic mail (e-mail address).

We store and process data via our registration and contact form. These are usually deleted after processing. Important messages or messages are archived for longer tracking. This personal data is not passed on to third parties except for the purpose of criminal prosecution.

Contributions and comments

We offer the users of our pages the opportunity to leave individual contributions and comments. If a user creates or leaves a contribution or comment, not only the comments but also details of the time of entry, if applicable the corresponding contribution, as well as the user name (pseudonym) chosen by the person concerned will be stored and published. Furthermore, a notification is sent, depending on the setting. The personal data collected will not be disclosed to third parties, unless such disclosure is required by law or serves the legal defence of the data controller.

Added contributions, comments or images have a public character and belong to the freedom of art, press or opinion, provided they do not violate the personal rights or copyrights of a third party. They are not considered personal data.

Email delivery

On our pages, members are given the opportunity to subscribe to notifications, newsletters or offer emails. Which personal data is transmitted during the provision of the respective mail is determined by the input mask used for this under the respective settings.

Our pages inform users and business partners at regular intervals by means of a newsletter, an offer e-mail or a notification about contents, offers or new notifications. These mails can only be received by the person concerned if (1) the person concerned has a valid e-mail address and (2) the person concerned has decided to send an e-mail via opt-in.

The personal data collected within the scope of the membership will be used exclusively for sending our mails. Furthermore, members could be informed by e-mail if this is necessary for the operation of our site, as could be the case in the event of changes to the offer or changes in the technical conditions.

The e-mail address or any other personal data collected will not be passed on to third parties. Subscriptions to newsletters and offer e-mails can be cancelled by the respective member at any time. For the purpose of revoking your consent, you will find a corresponding link in every newsletter and the offer e-mail.
